PRONUNCIATION: Exercise the pronunciation of -ed forms for regular past tense verbs.


LISTENING: Describing a city.

What is the city? 

What country is it located in?

Why is it named the Land of Fire and Ice?

Name one touristic attraction you would recommend. Give reasons for your recommendation.

TOPIC: Describing a topic I have visited/lived in

TASK:

*Prepare a presentation about a city abroad you have visited or have lived in. However, if you haven´t gone abroad yet,  just choose a city in the world you would like to visit and design your presentation as if you had visited it.

*Time allowed: 9-10 minutes. Your presentation will be interrupted at minute 10.

*The assignment requires a PowerPoint presentation.

*The grammar goal of this presentation is the use of the Past Tense. So, use it as much as possible.


*Criteria of Evaluation: 

Content/Vocabulary:20%    

Organization: 5%    

Fluency: 25% (use of fillers)

Pronunciation: 25%  (-ed forms)

Grammar: (use of past tense): 25%
