Writing the Introduction

Example 1
It is my honor today to deliver the commencement address for this incredible student body. It is my pleasure to welcome students, families, and faculty to graduation day at the American School English Academy. Everyone one of you have made an imnpact on the graduates who sit here today.

Example  2

Good evening ladies and gentlemen. Someone wise once said, "You dont have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great." Tonight, we are great. We started and despite all odds here we are, receiving our graduation diplomas...

Example 3

I am honored to deliver the graduation speech on behalf of my classmates. We have reached the goal we set out for ourselves a while ago. It wasn´t easy. We had to deal with on-line education, battled traffic to get home from work on time for class, turned-off our cameras during the class because we hadn´t had time to comb our hair, or we were just trying to finish our dinner; we missed family dinners and celebrations, we worked on assignments, speeches, homework, and tests...we got tired... sometimes we wanted to quit, some of us did.
But those of us who managed to cope with all this made to tonight, our graduation ceremony. You are champions indeed...

IV. LISTENING COMPREHENSION: THE FUTURE
